Our America: Documentary and Dialogue for POV Engage at PBS
In 2022, I worked with my supervisor to run the Our America Project. My duties included: gathering mission statements and quotes for press; drafting copy to describe the program in the newsletter and boilerplate; creating and updating a One Sheet to store information about our grantees and their progress; writing and sending grants; scheduling meetings with representatives at selected community organizations; and writing up a final wrap-up of the community impact each grantee executed. Doo-Wop Like it's Hot Festival Marketing Campaign
This is a mock marketing and promotional plan for social media written for a project-based class where I had to create a music festival and market it, covering everything from logistics to promotion and revenue. The press release can be found here, and the entire project can be shared upon request. This plan utilizes Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Radio Stations, and Network channels. "So Here's What Happened" Marketing Plan
In my class "Programming for Multiplatform Media," I was tasked with creating a marketing plan for an old pilot show that hadn't got picked up by a network. "So Here's What happened," follows a formula where the MC walks into a barbershop with a story, and the story is told through flashbacks throughout the show and relayed to the audience and the barber. My marketing plan covers Merchandizing, Monetization, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Podcasting, and guerilla Marketing pre-premiere.
